The Mobile Kennel Club is an all-breed dog club, licensed by the American Kennel Club. It is a non-profit organization, established in 1921, to further the advancement of Purebred dogs. The purpose of the Mobile Kennel Club is to promote Purebred dogs through proper care and careful breeding. This club plans practice matches, dog shows, obedience/rally trials, etc. Our members represent a wide variety of breeds and many of our members actively participate in AKC competition events including, conformation, obedience, agility, earth dog, hunt tests, herding instinct, scent work, and more! The Mobile Kennel Club provides educational information for interested dog owners and enthusiasts through programs and speakers at our monthly meetings.
On Friday, December 20, 2019, the Mobile Kennel Club, as one of the many Stewards of the City, were pleased to present the Mobile Police Department K9 Unit with a check for $2,000.
The money will provide training for 2 K9 officers and partners.
