Roll call of minutes: Minutes from August meeting were read and approved. Motion– Amanda, 2nd – Nicole. Approved unanimously

President’s Report: Janet

Very pleased with our club and effort put in to this years show.

Due to the financial information being discussed at this meeting, everyone was reminded to not discuss the clubs financial information with other clubs.

Corresponding Secretary Report: NONE

Treasurer’s Report: Pat

Pat discussed the 2015 Show expense report with everyone. She reported we made $7,036.52 for show and now have $23,791.83 in the bank.

Thanked everyone for all their help. She has never been so proud of the club

Obedience made a profit of $47.44 for our club this year. Same for SRKC

Nicole added a thank you for everyone who stewarded in obedience

AKC Activity: Laraine

Next activity will be our Match – tabled for next meeting

Legislative Update: Bonnie

San Angelo TX has imposed strict spay/neuter and micro-chipping laws

AKC Update: Brian

Deaf dogs will now be allowed to participate in agility, tracking, and rally

90 day hold on site location of shows has been sent back to committee

New Member voting: NONE

Old Business:

Pet store table – Kathy reported this is on hiatus until we find a new store.

Becky said this was important because the AKC requires us to hold outside activities and because we hold our show outside of our area we must hold twice as many.

New Handouts from AKC – Shirley – not present

New Business:

7:23 p.m. went in to Executive Session to discuss next years show.

7:44 p.m. regular meeting resumed

Held critique of 2015 show (Pros and Cons)

Janet handed out incentive awards to members that helped at the show. The Grand Prize winner was Carlene McKinnell. She won a digital video camera.

Janet mentioned that AKC told her smaller rings could be used for toys and terriers if space is an issue next year. We just need to tell the stewards superintendents.

Kathy said the photographer we use charges a $20 cancellation fee for all picture taken but not purchased.
